5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Sites, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver relevant advertising. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website.

Types of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the Sites to function properly, including maintaining your session, enabling secure login, and processing transactions. These cannot be disabled without affecting site functionality.
  • Performance and Analytics Cookies: Used to measure how visitors interact with the Sites, which pages are visited most, and how users navigate. We use Google Analytics for this purpose (see Section 6).
  • Functional Cookies: Allow the Sites to remember your preferences and settings across visits.
  • Advertising and Targeting Cookies: Used to deliver relevant advertisements and enable remarketing through Facebook Pixel and Google Ads (see Sections 6 and 7). These cookies track your activity across websites to show you relevant ads after visiting the Sites.

Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or delete existing cookies. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Sites. For more information on managing cookies, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

6. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to collect and analyze information about how visitors use the Sites. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on site, and referring URLs.

The information generated by Google Analytics cookies about your use of the Sites is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the Sites, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.

To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For more information on Google's privacy practices, visit https://policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Facebook / Meta Pixel and Remarketing

We use the Facebook Pixel, a tracking technology provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Facebook Pixel is a snippet of code installed on the Sites that allows us to measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising, build custom audiences for ad targeting, and deliver remarketing advertisements to individuals who have previously visited the Sites.

When you visit the Sites, the Facebook Pixel may collect your IP address, browser information, and information about your interactions with Site pages and content. This data is sent to Facebook and may be used by Facebook in accordance with its own data policies to deliver targeted advertisements to you on Facebook, Instagram, and the Facebook Audience Network.

Remarketing

We may use remarketing features through both Facebook/Meta and Google Ads to display advertisements to visitors who have previously visited the Sites. This means you may see our advertisements on other websites and platforms after leaving our Sites. These ads are served based on your prior visit using cookie-based technology.

8. Payment Processing

We use Stripe, Inc. as our third-party payment processor. When you make a purchase through the Sites, your payment card information is collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We share information with the third-party service providers listed in Section 10 as necessary to deliver our services, process payments, and operate the Sites.
  • Advertising Platforms: We share limited data (such as hashed email addresses or pixel-based identifiers) with Facebook/Meta and Google for the purpose of serving targeted advertisements and building remarketing audiences. This sharing is governed by the platforms' own data policies.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other business transfer, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit prior consent.

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. As stated in Section 12, SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

14. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, maintain your account, deliver program access, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When personal information is no longer needed for these purposes, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with our internal data management practices. If you request deletion of your data (see Section 19), we will process that request subject to any legal retention requirements that may apply.

15. Data Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS), secure account authentication, and access controls limiting who within our organization can access personal information.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulatory authorities as required by applicable law.

16. Children's Privacy

The Sites are intended for adults and are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we may have collected personal information from a minor, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

17. Do Not Track Disclosure

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not want your online activity tracked. Currently, there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, and the Sites do not currently alter their data collection or use practices in response to DNT signals from browsers.

You may manage your tracking preferences through browser settings and the opt-out tools provided in Sections 6 and 7 of this Privacy Policy.
