Message From The Founder

Most business owners spend decades building something that matters. When it's time to move on, they deserve more than a broker chasing a commission.

I started LaunchPoint because I kept seeing the same gap: owners surrounded by lawyers, accountants, and advisors — each focused on their piece — but nobody focused on the owner. Nobody asking the harder questions about readiness, timing, the right buyer, or what comes next.

That's the work I do. One owner at a time, with full attention from start to finish.

I'm not trying to build the biggest brokerage. I'm trying to do this work the right way, for the right people, and earn a reputation that reflects that.

My name is Brian Johnson. I spent fifteen years analyzing complex financial data and transactions — working in government contracting for aerospace and defense as the contracting officer responsible for evaluating suppliers, structuring deals, and signing off. No committee to hide behind. Real money. Real accountability. I was the one making the call.

That background gave me something more useful than a broker's pitch deck: I understand how buyers think. What they're looking for. What triggers their skepticism. What makes them walk — and what makes them compete.

Since founding LaunchPoint, I've guided multiple owners through transactions that tested that understanding in real time. One involved three family owners with differing expectations. The original buyer walked at the last minute. A fire broke out in the building mid-process. Through it all, I stayed in the room — found a new buyer, navigated the insurance claim, and helped three frustrated owners reach the same finish line.

None of that is in a brochure. It's in the work.

My wife Michelle and I have been married over 20 years and are raising four children in Edmond. Faith shapes how I work. I stay connected to this community through SCORE and our local church.
